i'm such a NICE jie-mei.. Part I..
Firstly.. i succumbed to sleep.. obviously woke up a tad late.. so i TOOK a cab.. No major gawking on the mrt.. ;p The uncle drove at 120km/hr..
Swoosh~ and i reached Tampines on time.. ^^
Few morning shots at my aunt's (Bride's mummy) place ...

Getting her hair done...

I love her modern veil!! Very old-english style.. NICE!!

The 3 jie meis.. :) Me, Regina, Audrey..

Me and my aunt...

Back-view of the bride... She's made to pick up her gown and swish it to the front.. got some LOVELY shots there... by the official photographer of course..
** The photographer is the same one that did Serene's WEDDING!!! No wonder he was so familiar!! haha.. I asked him abt it.. den he was like "Oh! the one with a lot of cars one right??" ;p it's a SMALL world afterall.. ^^Anyway,
Nothing too embarrassing..
Nothing too torturing..
Everything was done meaningfully with such
a hint of sweetness..
*beams* I'm proud of MY ideas!~
Special request from the bride "something symbolic rather than 'cruel' ".. Totally agree with that
Personally think that gate-crashing shouldn't be done overboard or something done out to humiliate or torture the groom.. After all, weddings supposed to be all about the love b/w newly-weds.. Heehee..
First stage - "Ring the bell"We have a country-style rooster bell outside the corridor. He has to ring it to Dawn's fave no.
*she doesn't have one! hee.. but she said "23".. it's the date.. duh~* I gave a REAL huge hint of "A number less than 30"
Teehee..
He got it the first time. ^^
Second stage - "Sing and Dance to a Love song"He came rather prepared. He sang one of my fave love song from the movie
"Grow Old With You." :) From "The Wedding Singer" by Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore. *I WANT SOMEONE TO SING THAT TO ME TOO!!* hahahaha~ Did a little sway from side to side..
*dance?? -.-* haha.. Kinda brain-freeze as he keeps forgettin the lyrics!!!
Ok lah.. Give chance a bit.. Gan Chiong so brain-dead... Understandable.. Pass pass...
Third stage - "Tian Tian Mi Mi drink"Sweet Honey + Equal volume of water + One piece of rock sugar
= Ultimate sweetness!!
WAHAHAHA... decided to do away with the usual "suan-tian-ku-la" (sour-sweet-bitter-spicy) thingy cos' it's such a TORTURE to the tummy!! Dun wan him to have runs the entire day..
BUT we can't possibly let him off that easy, can we?? hee.. so i proposed a SUPER SWEET drink.. for the marriage to be
tian tian mi mi!! It's just a small cup anyway.. =p
Fourth Stage - "Gantry Fee"Hee.. of course.. ANG POW!! $
They handed to us a STACK OF
BANANA MONEY!!! -.-
We, the 3 jie meis all tio stunned... Are they like SERIOUS??? haha..
It's said that the entire stack of banana money is worth at least tens of thousand.. It's Edwin's heritance from his granny.
Woo~~~~~

But we requested for USABLE money instead.. Handed us a THICK stack of 2 bucks NOTES!!
So we slowly counted them.. Grr.. more work for us.. The amount seems reasonable.. so we didnt demand for anymore.. *SEE WE ARE SO NICE CAN??*

Fifth (Final Stage) - Love DeclarationI drew up this the night before:

For Edwin to write his love letter to Dawn.. SIGN at the bottom of it.
I wanted Dawn to have something tangible to have and keep for her wedding. What's best than a love letter from your hubby-to-be on YOUR wedding day right??

Love-letter writing in progess
And he ask to DECLARE OUT LOUD for everyone and of course the bride to hear thru' the door.. The first attempt FAILED miserably cos... the MRT just passed by and she cant hear a thing.. ;p The second attempt PASSED lah.. :)
SEE!!! 5 EASY-PEASY STAGES!!!! We let him off so easily!!
But he's a nice chap.. so... wadever lah~ Give chance... ^^

The sweet-goofy duo...

Kiss-kiss...

Off to church... ... ...
