Weds..

Went to Sab's place for a movie marathon... haha.. only watched two movies lah.. intended to watch 3 but no time.. initally plan was to cook lunch together then watch home-movie then meet the others and go out for another movie in town.. but someONE suddenly had other plans so ended up.. only "da baoing" lunch... too lazy to cook.. went over and watched 2 movies... "the first 50 dates"<= romantic comedy.. funni lah.. kinda not worth goin to the movies for this show lah.. and "Man on fire"<= some spanish/english show.. kinda long.. little draggy.. half the time we were thinkin y was the little gal's name 'peter'... actually it's peta... :P the show is like kinda gross.. all the cutting of the fingers and shooting into the head and stuff.. sad ending..

Thurs..

Plans to play badminton at sumi's there.. but the court was like fully booked.. so asked gin to check out her place.. also fully booked.. at last we settled on this pathetic court as gin's void deck.. but what ever lah.. can play ok already lah.. afterall it's like so late already.. we played at what.. 8pm?? ya.. played for an hr.. then went to sit at some foodcourt and chit chat lah.. abt tuitions, their jobs.. quite funni.. some incidents.. haha..

Went for the church's work day.. cleaned up the nursery and kindergarden area.. the kiddie's toilet as well.. kinda sian lah... Stayed up to watch "bring it on".. Cool dance routine.. hehe...

Sun..

Whole day in church!! From 9.30am till 8.00pm.. haha.. In the mornin.. i went to help out with the Holy Communion then went for svc.. then stayed for lesson "life of christ".. the lesson is kinda borin lah.. got to read the notes at home then.. :P then went for lunch with Vons, eileen, Baoying, jasmine.. ordered out food.. then also ordered "Ngor Hiang".. nice... nice.. craving for the nice chilli sauce.. yummy.. all bcos' QX wanna to at the prawn crackers.. hehe.. then we went for the lesson at 3pm.. abt relationship 101.. haha not beij*ng 101.. :PBro stanley taught this class..abt relationships with God, Family, Friends, Marriage.. pretty good course.. but kinda long.. cos it's like 4 lessons one shot... Met Rachel there also.. had lotsa fun with her.. laughin and stuff.. all the crappy jokes.. hehe.. then also stayed for the evein svc.. the worship is like POWER!!! Gosh.. fantasic worship.. loved the songs.. reallie can feel God in our presence.. :D THe sermon was kinda "qi-am" (deep) lah.. couldnt reallie understand.. then we headed home..

only juz discovered two nice anime showig for arts central.. haha... tat's inuyasha and shaman king.. was juz channel-surfing the past few days when i came across these 2 shows.. i'm sure that they have been runnin for a long time already and only now then i discovered it... but it's showing so late at nite.. 11pm to 12 midnight.. gosh.. so late.. but i muz say that it's kinda morbid lah.. so not reallie suited for younger ones.. perhaps that's y it's showin so late.. at nite.. also only jus discovered a online game.. maplestory... it's kinda like rpg.. the kind that i like.. kinda like Final fantasy.. haha... i used to be so addicted to FF.. now.. no more PS2 so cannot play already... so ex anyway.. but i'm kinda backdated already lah.. heard that this game is like history already.. anyway.. the characters are kinda cute lah... :P

rather pissed with the whole NKF thingy.. how dare someone (no names mentioned) take the donations and spend it on what... first class tickets, mercedes with COE paid by the "non-profit organistion", taking 12 months bonus?? It's like WTF?? Even i never travelled on first class alone.. and Who the H*ll takes 12 months bonus?? 12 months bonus in a non-profit organisation.. and along they led pple to believe that they are short of $$??

actually read from the ST forum couple of weeks back that the NKF cancer show had nothing to do with the singapore cancer society... it seems that several public had called Singapore Cancer society to enquire whether the show had anything to do with their society but no...

So it seems that NKF is kinda like cheating for different reasons huh?? one moment is for the children foundation, the heart foundation.. now even the cancer foundation.. even when there's like a legitimate, proper foundation for cancer itself... so this past week they like raise abt 5 million for each show.. = like 10 million++?? aww.. man.. bunch of liars...

munchin on some wasabi crackers now.. and the spicyness is seriously chokin me.. haha.. dunno why i suddenly had a cravin for wasabi stuff so bought a pack from Daiso at 2 bucks.. remembered the first time i tasted wasabi munchies when my bro took back some wasabi peas from his honeymooning days at japan.. basically my mum and 2nd bro didnt liked it so i sortof finished them up..haha..

juz back frm my church lesson abt the life of Christ.. later on goin back to church for my NL1 make-up class..

No Problem

Don't worry if you have problems! Which is easy to say until you are in the midst of a really big one, I know. But the only people I am aware of who don't have troubles are gathered in little neighborhoods. Most communities have at least one. We call them cemeteries.

Maybe you have seen the Great Barrier Reef, stretching some 1,800 miles from New Guinea to Australia. Tour guides regularly take visitors to view the reef. On one tour, the guide was asked an interesting question. "I notice that the lagoon side of the reef looks pale and lifeless, while the ocean side is vibrant and colorful," a traveler observed. "Why is this?"


The guide gave an interesting answer: "The coral around the lagoon side is in still water, with no challenge for its survival. It dies early. The coral on the ocean side is constantly being tested by wind, waves, storms -- surges of power. It has to fight for survival every day of its life. As it is challenged and tested it changes and adapts. It grows healthy. It grows strong. And it reproduces." Then he added this telling note: "That's the way it is with every living organism."


That's how it is with people. Challenged and tested, we come alive! Like coral pounded by the sea, we grow. Physical demands can cause us to grow stronger. Mental and emotional stress can produce tough-mindedness and resiliency. Spiritual testing can produce strength of character and faithfulness.


So, you have problems -- no problem! Just tell yourself, "There I grow again!"

finally i went to register at bbdc for my BTT.. basic theory test.. been draggin it for too long already.. becos of Vons lah.. she har.. dunno what to say also.. so at least i have done something!! Yay.. but my BTT is going to be like in August so.. i still have lots of time lah.. hehe..

Was juz reading a chapter of a book and this phrase particularly stood out.. Make me patient and do it right now.. I have been very anxious abt finding a job and stuff cuz everyone around me is like doing something.. Sab is goin to Uni, sumi and gin are happily employed.. except moi.. Pour-Quoi?
Psalms 36 said not to be like a horse nor a mule.. one is impatient, the other's stubborn. I'll juz leave it all to God lah.. :)
