Thanks to all my frenz for sending me Birthday Wishes!!
hehe.. so nice to recieve calls, sms, msn msgs fr many loved ones.. hehe~ Feels great to be remembered on special occasions.. *though SOME PEOPLE got the wrong date and told OTHER PEOPLE the wrong date..* -.- you know who you are.... wahaha~~ it's ok.. no offence taken!! hee.. I'm pretty bad with dates myself... My final surprise SMS was from LISA!! cant believe she remembered.. so sweet of her.. hee.. my sec sch mate.. *muacks* back to ya..
Had a great day out on my bday with sabby.. haha.. My date with her... hee.. will put up our pics soon~ we the 2 KTV queens.. doing singing-marathons... wahaha~ darn tired after that.. hee.. More details when i upload the pics.. hee..
Was on leave till 28th~ sian.. i figured i needed one more day after my bday to recover fr tiredness due to wadever... haha.. i would just go into depression if i had to go to the work very next tym.. that kinda feeling just sux... it's like the MONDAY blues feeling... which i hate the most..
On the 28th i started on OPERATION *BLING-BLING*... hehe~ remember the crystals i bought.. haha.. i had a HUGE plan for my ride~ that's to have them stuck on my plain-boring-black dashboard...
Ta-da... Pretty??? this is one of the paw-prints i made with 3mm crystals... YES!! 3MM!!! when i did the arrangement.. my eyes become all starry-eyed aka cock-eyed... haha~ BUT its pretty isn't it??
This was a very tedious process... from getting the inspiration... sourcing of crystals... finding the right kind of adhesive to use on the dash-board.. (without damaging it).. to arranging the crystals... to sticking with tape.. to arranging on the dashboard... to dabbing glue using a TOOTHPICK!!.... to removing the tape.... .... .....
*phew* MAJOR HARD-WORK!!!
This is my end product.. a trail on the dash-board.. hehe~ it looks goregous!! SERIOUSLY!!! it's so much more bling-bling and shiny in REAL LIFE.. cos i used real swarovski crystals!! MUST SEE FOR YOURSELF!!
A paw-print on the side of my meters...When i saw the end result.... it was so TOTALLY worth the time and effort spend on it... was like gonna suffocate in the car due to STINKO glue!!! ARGH~... it was raining at that point of time.. so 6 hours.. i was stuck in the car.. with little ventilation... even the windscreen got all fogged up.. as i worked my butt off this project... was a little paiseh.. working in my car.. cos there was like construction going on at my void deck.. so the foreign workers were kinda looking at me and mayb thinking "What is she doing sia..." haha.. well.. WHO CARES... i think mine's the only ride with lovely crystals on the dashboard!! YEAH~~ special.... *cross fingers* that the crystals dun drop off.. if not... i'll just cry... 6 hours of effort... down the drain...
My little ipod-holder by the side of the steering.. thanks goodness i brought my ipod down... work and enjoy music at the same time..
haha.. and here's my kawaii figurine... i ironed-on the crystals on its clothes also.. haha... *Bling-Bling*!!
p.s hmm.. i'm so so gian-ing to put crystals all over my ride.. haha... currently thinking how to without making my ride look too tacky... hehe~
