Of all days... someone had to hit my car on the day before my exams.
Of all days... i have to get everything settled within 24hrs.
Of all days... i'm having my exams tomorrow.

Argh... need to run to the workshop tomorrow.
Tat leaves me with one day less to study for my exams.

But still, Thank God the driver left his contact.
If not it'll be a hit and run case and i have to claim my own insurance. *bleah*

What a day... :/

The first thing i saw when i stepped into the chalet...

Haa.. guess i wont be missing my little Twinkle very much for the day.

Me and Jas wore the same tee!~ haha~ BE KIND TO ANIMALS!~

Wasted no time n headed to rent bicycles for the day.
Cycled up and down the dirt track..

And i suggested a gp shadow shot.. hee.. The sun was amazingly GOOD that day. Thank God for that, as it was raining heavily when we drove past PIE towards the jetty.

ha.. we TRIED to form a word here.. can tell?

Good idea aint it.. My idea hor!~ hehehehe~

And made our way down the boardwalk, right into the sandy shores! It was low-tide so we managed to hop around the lagoon and take picy~

No star-fishy are harmed in this shooting. Returned immediately into the waters.

Headed back to chalet when it's closed to 6+.. Ta pao-ed dinner and feasted together. There after, GAMES time. My fave.. Heart Attack! and 007 and Murderer game.

Think it was probably abt 2+am.. and i ate cup noodles.. giggled in the bed with the gers.. watch a bit of "xiao qian" on telly, before falling aslp. The guys woke me up...

Been a LLLLLOOOONNNNNGGGG time since i watched any movie..
Den, i watched 3 in the last 2 wks-span. ha~

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Novel idea of a man being born old and becomes young as time passes by. How an "old" man picks up on learning on various things, how many assumes him to be old and wise and perhaps have a whole bunch of life-experiences but he was just a teenager at heart. But a tad draggy for me. The plot picks up slight towards the end. The ending is interesting in its way, how his life-companion cares so much for him as he turns into a child with no memories of them together.

Tad draggy but leaves a poignant after-taste. Brad Pitt is an added eye-candy to watch but he really CANNOT act. ha.

The Reader
It's about an illicit affair that begun between a mature lady and a teenager. Just weird to see a boy with someone of age that can become his mother. The lady disappears after 1 summer together. She reappears 8 yrs after, being judged in a Nazi-camp trial. Boy turns into a lawyer and saw her in court. Many struggles observed on both parties. How the lady refuses to admit that she's illiterate and thus gets a life-sentence into prison. The man who knows, did not openly declare that fact. Saving her pride? or Leading her to getting a life-sentence. Which is better-worst? The man den spends the entire life, recording stories on tape for her. But refuses to reply to any of her one-liner letter. Does he want to get involved in her life or not? I do not know what to think about this story. Cause it's just like ...

Entriging movie.

Last movie is watched! Not a dull moment. ha~
Wolf-man of lower status than vamps and he falls for forbidden princess of vamps. Star-crossed lovers doomed for eternity. Princess punished to death by own dad, Lord of vamps. Wolf-man angry... tears down vamp estate. Main focus on the discrimination between the werewolfs and vampires.

simple review cause it's a straight-forward-watch-action kinda movie. ha..

Fun to watch.

What a world we live in.

Was just chatting with my 2 girlies. About our mentality on studying.

Are we too slack in our studies?
Is that a good thing or bad thing?

We talked about the comparison between 2 distinct different kind of ppl.

Her friends VS me. HA!
Me = lazy, slacker, do things last min, study for exams 2 days before hand, anyhow do reports
Her friends = Hardworking, piah all the way, study for exams 1 mth in advance, do all reports diligently, stay up to 12mn to finish up the reports, call each other to discuss abt stuff.

I've never been the elite portion of anything.
I'm rather flippant about my education. Pass can liao. No need distinction or wadsoever. Just gimme a credit pass, a scrape-thru result and i'm happy. Certainly i won't mind a distinction from time to time though. I do study when i know there's a need to. But i'm never the type who does her stuff on the ball. I need that sense of urgency, the lack of time, to push myself to grab that book and STUDY.
I'm not someone that strives to be a high-distinction achiever.
I'm not someone that wans to do her doctorate. At the end of it all, just gimme my cert and i feel that that's enough for my future. No more studying stuff which i loathe.
I'm lazy like nobody's business. I'm terrible in subjects that i hate (mainly chemistry for now).

Honestly i don't feel that it's a bad thing. I don't want to be a paper-chaser, neither do i wan to be one. I don't want to put studies ahead of what i have in life. I know that i can never achieve a doctorate or anything to that extend. I just wanna live life as it is.

Having fun, Serving God, being in the presence of friends, living life to the fullest at this present time. I guess that's wad heaven would be like huh.. :)

I still have 8 more mths till this nightmare ends...... bleah

My year has come and gone...

Anyhow, New Year has been fun.
Reunion dine at my place. Last year we had a new addition (BB Juston) and for this year we have 1 more new addition.. TWINKLE Lee! ha.. See she's in the family portrait. :P

That's us in our lok-kok home clothes.. Just after the whole makan session. hee~

The next day is "pai nian day!" CHU-YI!!
My visiting day. The driver of the year again. ha~ We managed to cover the few regular-chu-yi houses. Somehow it feels like there are lesser and lesser houses to go to as the years go by.

On the contrary to most ppl, i enjoy CNY visitings~
I like traveling around with my family together for an entire day. Seriously, how often does one do that? To dress up and move around as a family. Of course, the ang paos are added bonus. And compliments of me being slimmer, prettier... That helps in many ways~ ;p

The weirdest thing is that i don't get to see most of my cousins...
Some married (disappear...)
Some overseas (in rome and US)
Some in SG but we just dont meet (hmm....?)

So my visits are mainly to see the old folks and just chitchat with them. Let them tell their story, hear my mom sharing stories of my dad being admitted. Everything is on a play-back mode.

So far, it's been fun!

The sun was BRIGHT and shining~ Super hot day, perfect for a flower photoshoot.
Perfect day out for the 2 little doggies. Thank God Nena brought her stroller.. hee~ So my monkey can hitch a ride, whilst i happily walk away to snap snap snap!~ My silly monkey was on the look-out for me all the time. hee. I love the way she sticks close to me. :P

We had yummy hotdogs at the underwater world. Hee. Lotsa exercise in exchange for that. No group shot that day cos noone carried out the HEAVIEST of heavy tripod. We were too shagged out by the end of the walk. Sometimes i truely wish that the day can go on and on and we can just continue to have fun and joke around. Teasing and disturbing each other. Guess we are somewhat of the same frequency. LOL.

Spent late-nights at friends places...
Entitlements of Chinese New Year. Since i know nuts about MJ, i just watch the teevee and nua at the place. HA. Tried my hand at guitar and managed the front portion of one song. teehee~

Been playing so much that I couldn't quieten down and start studying for my exams. To make matters worse, my dad was admitted last Saturday. Nothing too big happened, except that we got such a BIG scare fr the GP who suspected kidney problems. Thank God his kidneys are working fine. My papa was discharged on the Tuesday... He just needs to head back for a scope on Monday. Needing lotsa prayers for him. :)

All that hustling here and there made me even more tired to concentrate. The exam seems doable. I know i missed out quite a bit for the essay questions. =/ Anyhow, it's over and my BIGGER nightmare has yet to come.

CHEMISTRY again... All i have would be chemistry for the next 8 weeks. *sob sob*
i have to reiterate that i HATE chemistry. Hate... like Hate to the max. It's sucky that i can't choose my own modules. I rather do like forensic sciences or something else. Oh well~ another 9 more mths!! And that's hopefully the end of all my sufferings. *bleah*

Going shopping later, after school, for my new year clothes. I'm SUPER last min lah.
All i have is a pair of red pumps ready.. Chio?? hee~ Need to find stuff to match it..

Truth be told, secondary school isn't the most fave part of my life.
It's one of the most painful time, in fact.

But memories, good or bad, are all fondly looked upon.
Even the worst memories, i can just look back and luff at them.
At good ones, i can just smile to myself as i think of the many fun times.

Before i know it, it's December all over again!

It's my favourite month cause:
1. It's the cool season month
2. It's the Xmas month
3. It's my birthday month!
4. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!!!

hehe..

I guess it's also cause it has always been a holiday month since i was schooling.

So.. what happened to this year? It's just zoomed past before i knew it. Oh dear, i have problems recalling what happened this year.... hmm.. I'm referring to my previous months' entries as i'm blogging. (like seriously man!) HA! Short-term memory as it's best once again. =p

- My cousin (Dawn) got married. (My first time as a jie-mei. Good $$! wahaha~)
- My first car accident.
- My trip to HK with my bestie (Scrapbk as proof!)
- I bought TWINKLE!!!
- Nephew's first year bday~
- Bought the Canon Ixus 860 compact
- Bought my holga
- Won a Canon Powershot E1 and selphy printer
- Sent off Sumi at crazily-early timing @ T3

Getting Twinkle sort of takes up the entire middle part of the year.
The entire drama of toilet training her, training her to slp alone at night.

What a short year it has been. I've been entirely caught up with school. Just one more year of torture before i'm officially awarded my...

Majoring in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

(Ha! That's sure a mouthful!~) Sounds cheem and yes it's IS cheem. Honestly-speaking, I'm a paper-chaser. Grr~ And i hate to be one. Why can't i study for the passion of science and not for the paper?

Just this cert is more that enuff for me. *i think* I love the increase of knowledge i've gained through the course of studies but the studies part and just squeezing us dry with the insanely-packed schedule. That doesn't make studying fun anymore. Ha.

I am a BIG-NERD-AT-HEART. hee~
I like discovering more and more stuff about how our genes work and stuff. It's just amazing how God created us. Each and every part of us is SOOOooooo intricately created. Like how the enzymes in our body can be controlled by a mere biochemical pathway. How the 2metres long DNA can be packed into one cell.. You know how small one cell is?

Hi-tea buffet @ Carousel

We went there on a weekday-afternoon But there was a crowd still (which we realised that a school is having their staff outing there)!!

Luckily we managed to get a seat..

We settled for hi-tea, cause it's CHEAPER and it fits our timing.
After watching "Body of lies", excellent movie.. (more of it in another movie post...)

Anyway, here's our array of goodies...

Sashimi was FANTABULOUS!!! I took quite alot.. Like 10 slices to enjoy.. hehe
Laksa was nice! Thick gravy with lotsa coconut in it. Lemak SHIOK!~ (had 2 bowls. =p)
Rojak was *bleah*.. Sabby refusing to use the rojak bowl to stir the sugar, peanut and stuff.. so we had WEIRD rojak..
Muah chee is VERY NICE!!!! We added extra peanuts..
Kebabs yummy~

I was already stuffed at this point... like eat so little though.. =/
So desserts.. i just ate a bit..

I MUST have ice-cream with sprinkles!! hehe~ Sooth my throat. nice nice..
Chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.. Neapolitan!
Pudding - pretty gross, all the insides flowing out.
Scone - too hard, not nice

Company was great once again...

This is considered our last meeting before my bestie flies off to work in US, Washington. :( And this silly ger only told us like 2 wks before she's flyin off. I swear me and sab wanted to kill her. Doesnt leave us much time to plan stuff with her. Everything was in such a rush.

We sent her off from T3 on the 29th Nov.. Her insanely EARLY flight is at 7am!! *&@^#&* so we met up at 4.30am, her place. And cabbed down together. Even at such a dead-early-time, the queue to checking-in was LONG!!! gosh.. We had coffee bean's brekkie together~ Said our short good-byes and off she went... her 14-hour flight... So long! (Nt including transit) No joke man..

We made plans to visit her at US next year! Yipee!! Free lodging.. muahahaha~
But... how am i supposed to survive my 14hr flight with SAB!!

Food's pretty unique.
Omelette was GREAT.. Anything with cheese is GREAT to me..
Kebab was HARD.. (not recommended)
Hannas is flour with chick-peas. (Unique taste)
The gravy stuff is nice, especially with the bread dipped in.

Company was excellent.
This was a post-birthday celebration for Sumi..
Glad that she liked the gift we got her..
Something useful for her to bring to US..

i rolled down the stairs.

I was in a hurry.
I walked super fast.
With my heels on.
Down the stairs.
Lost my footing.
Stumbled a few steps.
I THOT I can stumble out of this without falling.
How wrong I was.

I rolled down the stairs.
My stuff all on the floor.
My knees and palm was really painful.
I have a HUGE painful-angry-looking-bruise on my left knee.

*Ouch*

I knew such a day would come,
Given how clumsy I've always been.

Thank God i didn't break a leg.
Thank God i didn't sprain my ankle or wrist or wadever.
Thank God noone saw me. Super paiseh man....

Yup. I've having my presentation tomorrow.
It's on a scientific journal and i tell you, those journals ain't easy to understand. MAN! argh~

I've only:
- Read my article YESTERDAY (they gave the article out like 2 mths ago)
- Still struggling to comprehend the article NOW.
- Doing my slides NOW.
- Probably practise my speech TMR. (if can finish up the slides by today.)

Good thing is that i'm presenting to my tiny class of 20 only. Mostly all know each other so i'm EXPECTING all of them to just shut up when the lecturer asks "any questions?" haha.

I think i'll just smoke my way through the presentation, as i always do.

Note to self: Don't try to act smart. hahahaha.

Heels story1:
I love wearing heels. Just bought one last wk. Was just dining with my friend; on the way back we saw this shoe shop. Nice flats they have! Headed inside to see see look look.

Saw this 3-inch heels in a beautiful shade of BLUE....

I'm supposed to be saving for my dslr. BUT HEELS!! how often do you find a pair that really catches your eye? It had a pretty bow just at the back of it. :D I knew i just have to get it, though it's 3 inch high!

So out of the shop, i left with a box of blue heels in my hands~ happy~

Heels story2:
Wore my 2inch heels out yesterday. Wore to church in the morning. Met up with my friends after which. I didn't expect that much walking to be done in ONE DAY.

A HUGE load of my shoulders. My mid-term break has arrived! FINALLY! Though it's a mere 2 wks.. but man i'm thankful for this break.

Mid-exams was on last saturday, honestly i know that i didn't put in all my effort. *sigh* It's just very difficult to study as all the lectures are SO DIVERSED. ONE moment it's about amino acid structure, the next is about crystallography method, den it's about some specific protein, P450 cytochrome, DEN it's about the modifications made on many different proteins. I sort of picked my way through the notes. Focusing on some, glancing over most, 100% sure on NONE. It's just tough to study this way, where there's no main focus. *bleah*

Been horrible sick for 2 wks.. Very Major Sick = poor immunity = outbreak of my skin. *sigh* Feels like i'm back to stage one all over again. *teary-eyes... double sigh*

At least i had fun the past 2 days,

Sunday was reserved for my date with God in the morning and Twinkle in the afternoon. :)
Brought my little one to the SKC Dog Show at Expo again! I felt really bad of neglecting my girl for the past month. Bad mommy. Been so caught up with school every night that i couldnt play much with her. So this is the special treat for her. Our second time to the SKC dog show.

This time i bought her some more dehydrated treats. Fish-skin for omega-3; fish fillet; and chicken feet! eeks! It's said to be good for them to chew and remove tar from their teeth. No harm trying. haha..

And also got for her a super-comfy-velour-red harness. She looks CUTE in the harness. Red and white = perfect match. We hung around watching obedience challenges. *The doggies are AMAZING! When will my dearie be as guai~* The beautiful showdogs. Had a ton of fun just dog-watching. Saw so many breeds.. from the tiniest chihuahua (even smaller than princess!), dalmations, rotties, huskies, basset hound, daushund, corgis, MS, shih-tzu, maltese all wrapped up, yorkies, saluki, whippet.. so many to bio~ :D

It's always "She's so affectionate" Twinkle can be crowed Miss Manja Queen.

Didn't bring my cam.. So no pictures of the dogshow. *bleah*

I'm gonna treasure my 2 wk of holidays.
More regular sleeping time,

Been sick the entire of last wk.. and still sick this week. Every single illness i could think of, just hit me this time round. Sore throat, fever, flu, blocked nose, cough, headache. You name it, i had it. Still on the path of recovery, my flu seems to have cleared up, so I'm just left with my cough. But it's enuff to leave me breathless very quickly.

I hate the muffled hearing,
i hate the lethargy feeling ,
i hate the tightness in my chest,
i hate being sick. :(

Anyhow, i survived the week (pon-tanging school.. =p) and had a very fun weekend!

Wonderful school started my Saturday morning. *bleah*
Journal Club presentation. Not me presenting (yet). Just some of my other classmates, and we being "good" audiences, we posted NO questions to the speakers. *pa-kart* a bit lah, if not they will shoot questions during my presentation as well. teehee.. Anyhow, my own presentation is on the 19th Nov. I'm doing the introduction part, shld be ok for me. Just hope i dun try to be a smart-aleck and try to be funny (like i always am) during presentation. It's on a science journal titled; Oxidative stress inhibits MEKK1 by site specific glutathionylation in the ATP-binding domain. Woot~ I've no idea what this means.. haa.. time for a little reading up. =p Had a little discussion with my lecturer and we were done for the day!~

Sab invited us for a Hari Raya Meal. Nothing she cooked or baked. *chey lah!* But still, nice food :) Sumi borrowed a movie over to watch. THE ORPHANAGE. yes, a horror show, though i don't watch horror -___-||| It was alright though, cos it's day-time. hee~ It's a really GOOD movie! I totally liked the entire twist to it. How sad it is that the mother is the one who killed her child. The child who she was desperating looking for, the child who she thought went missing for 6 mths. When he's really trapped in the basement, accidentally locked in.

Go catch it if you havent already watched it, NO apologies for the spoilers though. *muahahaha~* It's an old show. =p

Sunday... Day to bring Twinkle out.
Intended to bring her to the Dog Run for a little exercise. BUT it began to rain as we made our way there. :( So we made a turn to the Dog Cafe instead! *Lucky Twinkle*

We popped by K9 campus, located at turf city. and i like this place! It's a little air-conditioned hut with nice comfy seats. Some outdoor seatings as well. They only sell human food. Food seems quite nice, at least my friend's order of some burger stuff looks decent enough. and i LOVE their service crew. A bright smile on all their faces. Very friendly ppl, makes the place so much cozier.

Just opp the cafe is the US pet bakery, they sells yummy dog food. They had a power shut-down when we dropped by the area. Thus, no freshly baked stuff from them. I didn't get any stuff for Twinkle as well. But she managed to steal a bite or two of the meatloaf from Princess. ha~ That pig. It soon began pouring cats and dogs, but we hid inside the cafe. Nice place to just chill with ur poochies running around freely. The tables were rather low and i couldnt let my PIG run freely as she would tip-toe just to get a whiff at the scent of FOOD. -.- Had a good luff over the super belated gift i gotten for Princess. hee.. Tat super-random-slightly-deaf cutie..

It was pouring even as we were leaving, the NICE service crew loaned us umbrellas and even followed us back to the car to collect the brollies fr us. Great service, i tell ya!

I wanna go back again! hee~

Sick

Sick.. AGAIN. Something is seriously wrong with my immune system.

Massive headache last evening. Rendered me unable to head to school. I was rather insistent on going for class; took a train to school.

Took a bus to Boon Lay.
Took a train bound tiong bahru.
BUT (buay tahan already) Dropped off at Jurong East.
Headed home by cab.
KO on my bed immediately.

The pain was throbbing so badly and i felt so nauseated. One of my student even commented that i look sick. I guess i look gross when i'm sick. =/ Almost wanted to ask the uncle to not drive so "rollar coaster"-like. You know, how the taxi driver (especially with manual transmission) JERKS the taxi A LOT when changing gear. *pengz*

Woke up at 8pm.. Ate a fulfilling home-cooked dinner (finally! I missed 2 wks of home-cooked dinner already.) Den had to drive to school just to hand up my PATHETIC one-page assignment, which was due yesterday by 10pm. Thank God my dad offered to drive me there so i just rest in the car with Twinkle..

So. i guess i missed school. And guess what, my classmates just told me the lectures last night are all NOT RECORDED. &@*#^&!@*! I pay so much school fees and the day that i get sick and miss lecture. Just this VERY ONE DAY, the recording had to go hey-wire.

This morning.. i work up with...
-sore throat
-tummyache
-mild headache
-blocked nose

sigh... ... ... I wanna take mc to slp in tmr. i need rest.

Pray for me ok? I need a super strong body. Super strong brain. Super strong everything. :)

p.s Twinkle got pissed at me when i just headed straight to bed after reaching home.. she was like grumbling to me.. haha.. so cute, the sound she made. But i still bo chup her. My head too painful for me to even move and stroke her head.

I was gonna post an entire post.. COMPLAINING, ranting about my pathetic student life. But i thot, neh.. there are more stuff to Thank God for... Look on the bright side of life, people..

I wanna Thank God for:
- This module. I was just so thrilled to see FAMILIAR stuff like amino-acids in my NOTES.. No more physics-i-don't-understand-a-single-thing-formulas. (ok.. weird thing to thank God for.. cause i'm obviously being tortured by this module as well)
- The lecturers that seems fierce initially, but they are actually very nice.
- The LAB DEMOS.... the bio staff are all NICE PPL. The chemistry ppl ( i had the last module) was just "not as nice". and THAT IS A MAJOR UNDERSTATEMENT.
- The wonderfully-AWESOME classmates i have, those that help me with all my calculations. I seriously sux at them.
Those that even wait up for me to finish my lab stuff and den we will head out of the lab together.
People that encourages me when i felt SO disappointed that i have to REPEAT my experiment for the umpteen times.
Without you guys... i dun think i can make it through even the first week.
- My parents who comes to fetch me home from school EVERYNIGHT, without fail, without complaining.
- Twinkle who always cheers me up when i reach home. I bet she's the only one that's waiting for me to return and she expresses her feelings very well by hovering around me.

Many things to Thank God for...

Thank God for God. hee~ Thanks for just being there. :)

I wanna try this! DIY red-scale film!!!

howto: redscale film

Redscale is a colour film technique whereby you reverse the direction of the emulsion in a film. Due to the way colour film works, you end up with high contrast photos that are very red, yellow, black tinged. (Redscale group at flickr.)

Below is a description of making a redscale film. It actually looks more complicated than it really is. I recommend reading through the instructions once before you first do it.

You'll need two 35mm colour films to do this (when you do it the very first time). I recommend finding some expired film somewhere for trying this out.

1. Let us start by naming one of our happy films 'A'. This is the film which will become the redscale film at the end.
2. Completely unspool film A. Just pull it all out.
3. Cut film A, leaving a small tab of tab of film sticking out of the canister. (Get an adult to help you with scissors if you have eye stabbing problems.)
4. Now we introduce film B, who is A's evil twin. Cut the leader off film B as shown.
5. Arrange film A and B as shown next to each other. Note that their emulsion sides are facing different ways - film B has the emulsion facing up (i.e. the lighter coloured side of the film), film A has emulsion facing down.
6. Take a piece of sticky tape, of the size shown in picture, and press both ends of the films against it, so that they are aligned.
7. Carefully fold over the sticky tape, tightly.
8. Do this part in either in a darkroom or a dark bag: Wind film canister A so that it takes up all the film from canister B.
9. Your films should now look like this.
10. Cut the film to separate the canisters. Note that if you cut in the right place, you can end up with another canister as in step 3, ready for making another redscale film with! (i.e. don't cut too close to canister B, leave a tab of film sticking out)
11. Now film A will seem odd and wrong because the film curls the wrong way. But it's all good.
12. Fashion yourself a film leader by cutting as per the dotted line in this picture. (I've already done it in this picture.)
13. And there you have it, a redscale film ready to shoot. Please remember to overexpose your film by a stop. You need to do this because the light has further to go to reach the emulsion (because it's facing the wrong way now).

Note that you may have trouble loading the film into some cameras (such as the Hexar AF, shown in photo) due to the film now wanting to curl the 'wrong' way. The solution to this is to curl the leader tightly the other way for a while.

Mamma Mia~ Here i go again~
My~my~ how can I resist you?~

This song is playing in my head since i caught it when my girlfriends! I think i'm a closet-ABBA fan. I know ALL THE songs in the "Mamma Mia" movie! The movie is such a hit amongst me and my friends! Really brings the nostalgic feeling! Man~ i remember hearing these tunes when i was growing up. My mom's fave songs; which she used to play on the stereo..

Sumi... i'm 100% sure you enjoyed it now!!! dun live in self-denial! *super trooper lights are gonna find me~* Tat's YOUR song! heehee~ We ladies had a ball of a time watchin this hilarious musical movie. And Sab! your "money.. money.. money~~"...

One thing's for sure; Mr handsome-and-oh-so-charming Pierce Brosnan CANNOT act in a musical. Singing: FAIL! Please go back to being your Bond, James Bond. The entire movie is basically singing the Abba hits. The way the scene is nicely set for each Abba song to fit in perfectly. Throughly enjoyed it! I was luffing my heart out thru' the show. Especially the calefares would pops up of NOWHERE and started joining in the song and acting all silly. Hunks who act all silly with their flippers; dancing on the jetty dock. So CUTE!

This movie is Highly recommended by ME!
Lame story plot. But enjoyable show as a whole.

After which... we headed to the Minds Cafe!! For old-school card and board games!~ I love playing such games.. cause it's just plain good-old-FUN! We requested for "stupid stupid" games.. haa.. dun wan any chim games~

In 2 hours.. We played:

We are supposed to shout uglydolls!! when we see matching cards. but i just end up screaming my head off. LOL.

To call up the person's *hidden* animal sound when we see matching cards. But after the SWAP card is shown.. we were "woofing.. chi-chi-ing.. quacking.. ku-ku-ku-ing~" away.. haa.. SUPER FUN!

My exam last friday was hmm.. ok ok. i guess. I GAVE UP on Duncan's part cause obviously i don't think i even understand a single thing he explain. I tried.. i REALLY tried. I can almost DIE of frustration. His formulas dun make any sense to me. Enthalpy, entropy, gibbs, hess are NOT my best-friends. I dun have a single clue wad's a state function. Physics is not my kind of stuff. I pinned ALL my hopes on Dr Baker's portion; whose stuff seems slightly more do-able.

All i hope for this is to just SCRAPE through. I don't need a distinction for this one. Just a pass would do. *sigh... i dun wanna retake this, man.... i really really dun wan to... :( * All i can do now is pray and wait for the results in 2 mths time.

Twinkle went for her sterilization operation on Monday. Was super worried as i've heard of horror stories of dogs being allergic to GA and never waking up. O.O

But Thank God, she survived it. Really Thank God for being with her.

Left her at the vet at 12pm. Brought her blankie along as her comfort thingy.
Collected her only at 8pm, that very day.

She was totally nua. And her tear-streaked face. Gosh, the moment i saw her, i wanted to cry as well. Her face were totally wet. :'( She must have cried a lot. Her stitch was done alright. They cleaned up her nicely so no bloody patches or wadever. Just have to wait for abt 2 wks for her wound to completely heal. No baths and rough playing for 2 wks = smelly twinkle.

Had to purchase an e-collar for her to put on, so that she doesn't lick her wound (leading to infection). She was quite ok on it, no immediate contempt against that idea. ha. *phew~*

That very night, she somemore quite ya-ya. Decided to be strong and wanted to walk around even though i laid her nicely in her bed. She STAGGERED along the way. -.- Like a drunken. *Took a vid of that; will put it up when i can find time - haha.. notti mommy*

Weeks before the op, i told my mom to buy some white-fish for her. For her to heal better after operation. Ah-ma loves twinkle so much also... ...

So, the next morn, when twinkle woke up, she had steamed fish! Good life, yay? Steamed fish with kibbles. And boy am i glad that she had a GREAT appetite! My mom says that sick patients with good appetite will usually treat very fast. *smile~* She was still a bit sluggish on the morning, but it completely wore off in the afternoon. PENGZ.. and she went back to her usual antics. She managed to pee and poop without much trouble.

(Took 3 days off just to take care of her.. Just in case..)
Completely NORMAL. ha. Took a look at her wound. Seems like there's a little bleeding. Very little. I think it's cause she jumped around quite a bit when my neighbour popped by.

Just want to recover ASAP. So i can bring her out again.

Keeping her in prayers.
I know that God takes care of everyone, even the little pets he placed in our homes.

The shop is enclosed by glass, thus a very open feel, which i love. Tiong bahru plaza is not really well-ventured, thus the ppl flow is quite little. Nice and peaceful place to dine. The pasta here is more japanese inspired. And the pasta is just "Mmm~~~~~~" That's all we could came up with after tasting it ALL.

Middle one is green tea ice cream on red bean pudding.. The GT ice-cream ROCKS! Has a really strong taste of green tea of a more sticky texture. We suspected it might be a home-made gelare kind.. NICE! And the red bean pudding is sweet and yummy!~ Mix them both up. PERFECT!
To the right is the creme brulee... Strong egg taste with melted sugar on the top. :D

i have been terribly stressed for the past 4 wks.

Utterly tortured by my school. It's AMAZING what the school expects from us. They completed the half of my module lectures over a period of 4 sessions (full 3 hrs each time). They gives us 2 entire wk of practicals, FULL lab reports due a wk after. Den they gives us another 4 sessions of lecture for the last part.

They just forget the tiny-weeny fact that, WE ARE WORKING FULL-TIME AS WELL.

Lab sessions were horrible, half the time.. no.. more like the ENTIRE TIME, we have no idea wad we are doing. Briefing by the lab demos stinks. Horrible and unfriendly lab techs dun help either. Me and my friends are like totally lost. We just wanna finish up wadever we are supposed to do and just FLEE out of the lab. BUT this leaves us totally stuck with the lab report.

Man.. Chemistry Calculations.. Was hopeless with that in my sec sch days. Am hopeless with them now as well. What's the deal with the no. of moles.. molarity.. molality.. concentration.. ion exchange.. electrons.. chemical equation.. equilibirum. HELLO??? PPL majoring in molecular biology DON'T CARE ABT THOSE! Tell me about bacteria.. genetics.. viruses... anything else.

This is my worst module till date. Chemistry sux big-time.

The feedback form (given at every end of the course) was issued to us. Not surprisingly, the entire class (including ME) had LOTS to write in the comment portion. Complain complain complain. Ain't gonna help us no more.. but at least hopefully the next batch get a better treatment.

BUT.. to my surprise.. the final part of the labs was relaxing. i was ECSTATIC when the lecturer announced that the lab reports are all due on the day of my exams! YIPEE~ meaning i have a whole 3 wks to SLOWLY do my report. And the requirements of which has been reduced. NO need for RUBBISH stuff like intro, method, results, discussion, conclusion CRAP. Just "RESULTS". Tat's it. Simple enough. PERFECT.

Thank God for the 180degrees change in the sequence of events. Man, i was so depressed on the monday about the quizzes to come(4 quiz in a week, wow... perfect planning. -.-) But really, Thank God for changing everything. Nice lecturer, nice pace of work, nice nice nice..

Coming to the end of THIS MODULE. Just need to scrape through this one.

I know God can help me with that. :)

Zit Zapper

This easy-as-you-please combination has helped me zap unexpected and annoying zits overnight. Try it!

Yield: 1 application for a zit
Prep Time: seconds
Price Category: 1
Difficulty Level: 1
Shelf Life: Indefinite

Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 drop tea tree essential oil

Blending Procedure:

Saturate a cotton swap with the apple cider vinegar. Add a single drop of tea tree essential oil. Dab the cotton swab on the zit and leave overnight. Cover with a small band-aid if your pillow might rub Zit Zapper off while you sleep. When you arise, you should notice the zit has diminished.

Modded my holga to hold 135film instead of the EXPENSIVE 120mm ones. Getting poorer by the minute with the fun fun fun hobby. I'm watching like a hawk for ppl selling films and slides. Just ordered a Velvia 100, Velvia 50, Lomo x-pro slides. *muahahaha~*And i havent even played with my *rare* B&W film yet!

Why don't we have half-days on Friday? Just in celebration of the "National's Birthday"? :( NIE just ain't that kind to us employees huh? Was rather surprised to see a SEA OF RED AND WHITE in the canteen! Nowadays still so on with colour-combi one meh? ha~ So many folks in red and white! I guess cause they are teachers-to-be; might as well get in the mood just like in teaching days.

Quite sad for me to end my day with school AGAIN. Man.. i som-pa this is the WORST subject i've studied till date. Guess this time i really have to put in effort to do scrape through this module.. Gibbs free energy law.. TEN THOUSAND other laws.. All sort of subscript; Q=heat, W=work, H= dunno-simi law.. like WHO CARES about thermo-dynamics? i don't.. and i can't believe that i have to learn my mathematics AGAIN!! Ln, Differentiation, Integration.. the last time i did all these was like a freaking 8 years ago??? *yes tat's how OLD i am. ha!* Any physics and chem students? or teachers? i could really use some help..

National day = public holiday = i can drive my car out in the morning!
Figured to jio a dog run outing on a saturday morn; but all don't give face except one. PUI~ wadever. Headed down still with Princess. Ta-bao Mac for breakfast into the West Coast Dog Run. Just love the environment of the WCDR since i went there during the NDW last week. Unleashed Twinkle when we settled at the bench in the dog-run. She sticks rather close to me though i wanted her to go play with her new friends more. *just realised it might be because i have already trained her to lie down quietly at my feet when i'm sitted at home* ha! Clever Twinkle.

Made couple of friends there. Found Princess' Dad! haa.. It's a silky with the EXACT same colour combi fur coat! A little bully JRT pup.. couple more.. I even finished up a roll of film (anyhow snap) with my vivi; will post the pictures once i find time to get it developed. Had a nice and fun morning there. :D

Still going for another picnic with my friends and Twinkle tmr! cause it's HOLIDAYS! woot~ *happy* But i still have school tmr night. How sad... Sometimes i just wish that holidays never ends. Why can't it.....

The Holga is IT! For just $16.99 (not SGD ah.. i'm paying more than dat!) you get yourself a plastic camera which will truly allow you to finally break free of the correctness in photography. This innocent looking toy might actually be the best choice for street photography: there are no settings to hassle with, no focus or f-stop, so it’s easier to shoot on the move and keep up with the fast pace of the streets. And maybe its best trait is that the Holga just doesn’t look like a real camera, definitely not a serious one, so people just tend to ignore it and go about their business. (Doesn’t this camera remind you of these toy cameras which spray water on the unsuspected victim?)

One of the cool things about the Holga is that you can try all kinds of weird ‘tricks’ and since there isn’t really a correct way of using a Holga, anything goes… for example, you can advance the film between exposures only half way to purposely get a two in one image, or at least claiming you did… And of course the Holga’s most recognized feature – the double exposure although most double exposures done with a Holga are accidental; The Holga does not automatically advance to the next picture and as a result the double exposure is just bound to happen every so often.

Another fun thing to try with a Holga is making panorama images. Unlike panoramas taken with other cameras, with a Holga there’s no need to stitch the images together on the PC, the whole stitching thing is done directly on the negative. And it’s a Holga! Meaning the panorama doesn’t have to be perfect, actually probably better that it isn’t :)

And finally one tricky thing about the Holga is shooting at night. See, since the Holga doesn’t have a light meter or a real shutter speed and F stop settings you find yourself at the mercy of your film’s speed. (Which by the way is 120 film) (just another bonus!) The new Holga has the most advanced feature; the B exposure. Sounds great, no? However, the way it really works is that you need to press the shutter release button for as long as you want your exposure to be. Not to mention the pain and suffering your poor finger must go through, it is also impossible to hold your breath or keep steady for too long and even if you rest your camera on something, there will still be that horrible camera shake (the ugly cousin of the attractive motion blur).

This is where your choice of film can help you. If you don’t mind long exposures go for the 400ASA film and expose your film in the average lit area for about 30-40 seconds! 800ASA will allow you to cut down your exposure time to a good 10-15 seconds. But at last you will see the light when you use 3200 ASA which tolerates an exposure of somewhere between 1-3 seconds. Yippee!

That's a whole lot of $$ of just 16 pictures; not including printing.

Cost of slide films are definitely more den that.

I brought Twinkle to her first NDW; National Dog Walk 2008 (3rd Aug)

Went with Andrew and Princess! It was a nice and sunny afternoon! Didn't managed to find any parking lots, cause we went rather late. Walked quite a distance to the next nearest carpark. Luckily Twinkle didn't protest much and walked through-out the entire afternoon with us! She rather heavy.. you know? LOL.

Super warm afternoon with STRONG sunlight; perfect sunny day for a dog walk. :D

Have i told you that i hate chemistry?

I'm a biology ger; not a chemistry, not a physics ger. Guess what, my latest module is Physical chemistry. Meaning chemistry with physics mixed in it. Just had my first lecture last night. A FULL 3 hours... We were nodding our heads at the beginning and shaking them towards the final hour. He took 1 hour to finish up 5 slides! A pathetic 5 slides... We used to do at least 20 slides in a single hour.

This subject's a real killer.

It's so mentally draining that upon reaching home, i just ate and head straight to bed. Didn't even play with Twinkle; though she was begging for attention.

insanely packed with who-knows-what...

School takes up a pretty big portion of my life, so much so that i feel i'm in dire need to break out and find my own space for myself. I feel bad for no having time for cell gp and i miss my cell-mates (pun not intended) so much! I miss not meetin God with everyone on the friday. I miss you guys. I miss all the teasing. I miss just fellowshipping together. I feel like i'm missing out on SO SO SO much. :( :( :( Hope to get back soon once my schedule "sort-of" clears up. *sigh*

I'm progressing into my final year *grasp!* This fri's exam will conclude my second year modules. No more light-weighted stuff. :( I saw my next module's schedule and it's ................ indescribable. The amount of commitment that is required is................... indescribable. I look at the number of practicals PER WEEK and imagine the amount of reports i have to write. Things just doesn't look as bright anymore. I shall not lament anymore on my predicament. Not like it's gonna help anyway.

Just one more year... ONE MORE YEAR of suffering, then it'll all be worth-while.

YES, i can do it.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. :)

The weekend was great though. With great friends around.
Saturday started out with WORK; ushers for VIP to NTU's graduation ceremony. I had nice uncle D as my partner and it was a pleasure working with him and other nice colleagues. Fun-injected time i had. Made some new friends who works in different parts of my company who were "volunteered" for this job, just as i did. That took up more than half of my day.

Afternoon was spent with my darling twinkle, gave her a quick bath (once again; i got all wet) and spend the rest of the afternoon lazing around, wasn't feeling all that well but just having her around brightens up my day! :D

Come evening time, hopped over to uncle jh's new place for house-warming. Picked up Andrew on the way. (I'm just being TOO NICE as always. HA!) Beautiful house with a 4k ice-popping, water dispensing SAMSUNG fridge! WAHAHAHAHA~ i just love to tease him. hehe.. I can't believe we were THAT early. -____-||| We reached about 7pm and the rest came only at 8+? Now i know who to ask for meetup timings. LOL. At least i wasn't alone so that wasn't so bad. A Black on white concept. More of a contemporary feel to his house. Just love the cosy corner with the NY sky scape wallpaper on it. We had our plans to draw ppl on the buildings. Draw superman and spiderman on the buildings. Find a KingKong sticker and paste in on the building. LOL. We are hilarious. Like seriously. hahaha~

His bed is the most POWER bed i sit on. Simmons'.... what do YOU expect. It's super comfy, soft yet not too soft. Seriously, like the queen's bed. I've never heard of pillows WITH SPRINGS IN IT. His did. We, the ladies, laid back IN his bed (teehee..) and just have some girls' talk. **secret** Certain points were brought up made me wonder is that what i want in my life? To disturb my peaceful life, right now? The trade-off dun seems that good to me.. That's definitely not i want. Let's just see how things go... hmmm......

Anyhow, it was getting late. It was FUN FUN FUN!!!! Me and Angelyn (2 newbies) tried playing tennis. WAHAHA~ playing tennis like doing some kungfu stunts. Whacking the bat madly all around. heehee~ It's very easy to pick up and EVERYONE should play wii!~ It's like super addictive. Played bowling as well and i got a double strike! *dun play play!* I sux at real-life bowling btw. ha. The funniest has got to be playing the boxing. After watching Nena and Rick play it, i'm NEVER touching that game. Totally no clue how to play it even after watching them. The spectators... me, serene, angelyn, andrew were luffing our asses off. I luff till i teared. serious. *pengz*

It was getting really late for me.. so decided to siam home. I've church the next day so well.. must know my limits. hee~

SUNDAY; I should have rested at home. But i just wanna go to church to praise God!! It's just in me already. It's only AFTER i reached church that i realised i was quite sick. My throat was hurting, my eyes can't open, my body was aching. -.- So much for trying to keng through. Once again, God never fails me. :) I just love to sing praises to Him. It's always worth it.

After church, stubborn me still decided to proceed on with my plans to meet my besties~ I cna't miss this gathering cause FINALLY after 10 thousand years, the three of us are able to finalise a date, time n place to meet. The last time we met was like in ................... ...................... ............. ................ er............ ................ ..................... .................... *i can't remember* I only know it was at a jappy restaurant. It was LAST YR. But sometimes best friends just don't have to meet that often. We still are in the same frequency; same wavelength. Ah Xia is still Ah Xia. Ah Rong is till Ah Rong. And i love them to bits!!!~

Girls' Talk all over again. And Ah Rong has plans for marriage! *SEE I TOLD YOU THE WHOLD WORLD'S GETTING MARRIED!* Really thrilled for her. Her plans seems to be on-hold though, but i'm sure God will see her through it all. :)

Ah Xia wanted to get a photo-printer and so qiao, there's a roadshow on IT products, more qiao, what she wanted was on a half-price sales!!!! So me and Rong were there to "help" her. HA! Squeeze the SA dry. MUAHAHAHAHA~ We really tried our best to get him to "throw in" more and more stuff. Managed even get nice print-out of the 3 of us too! :D

Went home with a promise to meet up again. As usual. hee~

Felt a little guilty for neglecting my dear twinkle. So brought her out for a walk. Just one small circle around my estate before heading home. Normally her walks are much longer than that. But I really cannot tahan anymore. *sick sick sick*

So now... I'm sick with 2 days mc. Body aching, mind's half-aslp. :( I hate being sick. Pray for my health okie? and Pray for my practical exam on this weds and my finals on this fri.

Just pray for me. I need all of it. :)

AWESOME SHOW! me and my bunch of friends enjoyed it tremendously!

Action-packed to the BRIM! i felt that there was never a dull moment. With handsome Christian Bale around... :) I like the way the plot sorts of goes back to the batman cartoons (that i've watched in my younger days). There's Mr 2face with his coin-flipping action. The CG for him is really well-done! The all-so-cool gadgets. The LAMBO which crashed! :'( WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY DO THAT TO THE PRETTY CAR!!!!

They should have chosen a prettier lead actress though. Maggie's ok. But Katie Holmes for Batman Begins is so much more prettier! =p

Heath Ledger portrayed The Joker so well. Gives me the creep when he places his knife into a victim's mouth.. in a bid to slice it open. *goose-bumps* He could be given an award for playing The Joker. But sadly, he died due to "accidental overdose of prescription drugs", a tender age of 29. I remembered him in "10 Things I Hate About You" as a young blonde hunk with long curly hair and also in "A Knight's Tale" as a peasant turned knight. He always took shows that portrayed a bright, young character. Finally he will given a chance to be an amazing character. He might have gone a little too deep into his character, thus resulting in insomnia. Consumption of prescription drugs led to his death. There have been reports saying that Nicholas warns Ledger of playing the part of joker.

Good lesson to myself; to back up my stuff. Me.. the dumb-ass.

Anyway, i just want to comment that LENOVO's after sales service is SUPERB! Used their service a total of 3 times.

1) My brand-new LCD screen was spoil. I went to 'deposit' my lappy at my nearest post office. And Voila~ Singpost delivered it to them. They fixed it up and send back to the post office. Go and collect it. :)

2) Battery problem. The technical support ger called me from overseas!! haha.. weird, though i stated in my request form that i'm fr SG. Called me a couple of time to check on my battery series no and stuff. Problem not solved as my batt's warranty was already over. *bummer* but anyhow, i can feel her sincerity of wanting to help me. *Props to the nice lady!*

3) Lappy siao-problem. Refused to access to Windows XP. Technical support guy, Steven, walked me through the guide of finding out wad's wrong the computer. Assessed that it was the problem of the hard-disk. Advised me how to remove and install the hard-disk by myself. Asked his rider to immediately send the hard-disk to my house for a one to one exchange.

WOOT!~ that's what i call GOOD SERVICE!!

I'm gonna fix it up this evening when i get home.
If this doesn't work, i'm gonna rewrite this post! *evil laughter*

i'm so gonna get LENOVO as my next lappy as well..

My new term has started and apparently the time-table-planner-person decided that it would be fun torturing kids like myself. Thus, my schedule started off with a brillant 6-day school week.

EVERYNIGHT... heading to the school after work.. it aint no joke.

Thank God for my NEWLY-made friends who are in the same module as me.
Thank God for lecturers who seems rather friendly.
Thank God for pulling me through the entire of last week.
Thank God for my grades for my previous module. I PASSED. It's over. That's all that matters.
Thank God for this module, Microbiology.

Call me weird. But i prefer dealing with bacteria and viruses RATHER den chemistry, genetics and what not. At least all i have to do is a WHOLE LOT of memorising and not much for understanding. My notes are as thick as 3cm. and i have to MEMORISE all the stuff inside. *rolls eyes* My brain cells are kinda half-wiped-out from my previous Molecular Biology module. *THAT WAS A KILLER!*

My next few modules will be a chemistry one. CRAP. i'll be a goner den. But till den, let me survive from all the memorising first. ha.

p.s the next time you see me, i can tell you ALL about the HIV aka AIDS virus cause i have a WHOLE chapter on that to memorise. ha.

Caught this with my family.... Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I vaguely remember the few past movies of Indiana Jones.. the all-so-familiar Indy Jones tune which goes with him, his fedora-lookalike hat, his whip... I recall this series to be an adventure show, but not THAT out-of-your-mind. seriously what's with the ending?

[Spoiler alert!!]

ALIENS??? Space-craft??? Entering the space between the space? So is this a steven-spielberg-cum-all-his-other-movies-inspired sort of show? (think: E.T. , War of the worlds) and what's with the swinging monkey-thingy that happened? Tarzan wannabe as well? hahaha~

Many illogical happenings in this show but all in all, except the weird direction this movie has taken to, it's a pretty entertaining show. A full 2-hours movie with no dull moments and we luffed a lot during this show. hee~ Glad that my parents found it entertaining as well. :)

It's worth a watch, if you can excuse the lame plot.

Natural disasters that sadly devastated many lives.
No longer do i ask "why God, why does this happen?", but i'm more of observing what the world is doing about it.

It's so true that only during times of trouble,
that is when the world is jerked awake,
that is when you can see the true nature of ppl,
that is when you see more ppl turn BACK to their own religion.

You see the rally of people to gather and raise funds for those in dire need,
den you see some who criticise others of donating too little.

You see some governments who hurries to aid the parts in the disaster-stuck areas,
den there's some who decides that their political stand is more impt then their people desperately in need.

A ger who slams the victims involved in disaster-stuck areas, not raising a finger to help.
The irony of it when she's talking to her own countrymen.

The unauthentic "charity groups" who claims to raise funds for the needy,
when they are merely abusing the compassion of humans.

Human nature, that's a scary thing when they are on the wrong track.
That's how messed-up the human mind is.
The world is sick.

I just can't wait for the end of the world,
when i have no more cares in this sick world,
when i'm happily housed in heaven,
when i'm praising God every moment of my life.

Shopping at HK;
Bargains can defintely be found everywhere. Aint exactly super cheap but they are still a tad cheaper den the stuff found here. Everything just looks DIFFERENT from wad's found locally. So it's pretty refreshing looking at new stuff available. Their shops are just puny-sized.. pretty much like far east plaza concept. They have a weird culture of "No Fitting" aka no trying on the clothes in their puny shops. Their shoe range is just AMAZING.. we can stay in each shop for close to 30mins or more... Well, time just flies when you are having fun!

We had a ball of time walking through each shops.. Never got tired although we walked the ENTIRE day.. from 9am till 10pm. i think i gt more exercise den i had in months!

I love their SASA!! it's available at every corner of the street~ Their range of cosmetics and skin care are just to DIE FOR.. Majorlica, DHC, Palgantong, Naris... I WANT!!!

A little write-up review of the places we went to...
Declaimer: All in my honest opinion.. you might or might not agree, well, you be the judge.. ;)

1) Disneyland
I felt it was GREAT! First-time going there so the experience was good enuff for me. The fireworks are amazing! It's totally worth the money. Must 'chope' a good seat on the floor before the fireworks timing, if not you will be left standing. I went there on a monday and it's quite crowded. Dun miss their DAY PARADE!! happily snapping tonnes of pictures~ Did a lot of the coin-embossing thingy, HK10 each. thot it makes good souvenirs. Didn't manage to take all the rides cause we went there a tad late, about 1+pm. Should have gone there earlier.

2) Tung Chung MTR Outlets (at citygate shopping centre)
MUST GO!!!! All factory outlets are here. Esprit, puma, nike, levis', united colour of benneton, new balance, quiksilver, etc...

3) Avenue of stars + symphony of lights
Waste time.
Maybe our expectations were a little high. Just some lights on the building opposite the harbour. Didnt really enjoy it much.

4) The peak + wax museum
Must Go!
The peak tram ride was nothing great. Just managed to peek a couple of night scenes on the slanted peak tram. We didnt pay extra for the 'sky terrace' so there's no 360 degrees city view for us. BUT we managed to get some nice shots at one of the exits just outside the 'burger king'. hee.
Wax museum is also a must go!! Me and my friends went crazy inside! Touching and caressing andy lau.. aaron kwok.. hehe.. some parts have props for us to play dress-up! Enjoyed throughly there.

5) Shopping at argyle centre and allied centre.
More like far-east plaza style. Tiny shops to browse through. Most of them has NO trying-on policy. Can buy more stuff at cheaper prices.

There's a LOVELY shop at the argyle centre, which does handiwork craft. they even do personalised engraving on metal and wood stuff. We went crazy inside as well. It's like you choose an item (e.g. keychain, mirror compact) den they will engrave on it. Makes REALLY good souvenirs!!

6) Shopping at Granville road.
Rows of shops along the roads. Nice stuff to find there.

7) Shoppin at Ladies Market.
Pasar Malam style. Did some souvenir shopping there as well.

8) Sa-Sa
EVERYWHERE!!! Did quite a lot of cosmetic shoppin there.

Just went on a short escapade with my 2 besties...

Destination... Shopping paradise.. HK! Woot~

*bummer no.1* Was still sick when i went for this trip... been coughin for.. 3 wks already?? :(
*bummer no.2* My digital cam broke down on me at the very BEGINNING of my trip! Grr~ had to rely on my friend's cam.. thus, no pictures to show for now. Luckily my vivi survived.. but my films aint developed yet. ;)
